GBS Prevention Protocol
A Holistic Approach to GBS During Pregnancy
I wanted to share some key points about preventing Group B Streptococcus (GBS) during pregnancy. GBS is a type of bacteria that can be found in the vagina or rectum of some women. It can be passed to the baby during childbirth and potentially cause serious health issues.
One protocol to consider for GBS prevention is to start 4-6 weeks before the GBS test, which is typically given around 36 weeks of pregnancy. It's important to choose a combination of preventive measures that feels manageable to you and continue with the protocol until birth, regardless of the GBS test results.
GBS Prevention Protocol steps:
Probiotic 1 per day orally, 1 in the morning vaginally
1 clove of garlic, nicked and inserted vaginally at night
Eat at least 1 clove of raw garlic daily
Vitamin D 4000 IU (higher depending on your blood levels)
Vitamin C 1000 mg a day until bowel tolerance
Zinc 20 mg per day
Echinacea Premium 1 capsule per day
Limit sugar and white flour intake
Please note that it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any preventive protocol to ensure it's safe and suitable for your individual circumstances.
