She brings a compassionate and collaborative approach into the clinic. She is dedicated to integrating evidence-informed practices with traditional knowledge to enhance wellness and health. Above all she believes in the body’s innate ability to heal and transform.
While she grew up on the East Coast and Midwest, she calls herself a West Coaster after over fifteen years of living on this coast. She loves exploring new hiking trails and finds inspiration in nature for her treatments and a deeper understanding of Traditional East Asian Medicine and other nature-based systems of wellness.

Sydney Walker, L.Ac: Integrative Healer
and Acupuncturist

She/her
Sydney Walker is a Licensed Acupuncturist and integrative healer with over 30 years of experience in practice, treating people of all ages using Classical and Esoteric Acupuncture, and restorative healing methods that support clarity, balance, and embodied freedom—often when nothing else seems to reach the root.

She received her diploma from the San Francisco College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 1987 and completed advanced postgraduate training in Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture with master teacher Khosrow Khalighi. This lineage-based tradition emphasizes deep listening, presence, and long-term mentorship. Sydney also had the honor of studying directly with Professor J.R. Worsley, and she continues her clinical development with Niki Bilton and through Esoteric Acupuncture training with Asha Woo. Her work integrates acupuncture with energy and body-based healing approaches—including Serenity Vibration Healing, Reiki, EFT, Shamanic Hypnosis, and Body Organization—to relieve stress, shock, and deeply held trauma. She also uses nutritional response testing and incorporates specialized techniques for allergies (NAET), pain (Dr. Tan’s Balance Method), and nervous system regulation when appropriate. In 2015, Sydney earned a certificate in Applied Clinical Nutrition, and she is also knowledgeable in herbal medicine.

Her approach draws on both clinical expertise and a lived understanding of early adversity, neurodiversity, and recovery. She meets each client with warmth, intuition and a grounded belief in their innate capacity to heal.

Originally from San Francisco, Sydney now lives in Oakland near her two sons, daughter-in-law, and grandson. She finds renewal in nature, music, long-standing friendships, and a home shared with family and 2 sweet cats. She is honored to be part of a collaborative clinic offering thoughtful, heart-centered care.
