Your First Visit 

Prepare - ​​
  • For your first visit, please allow 90 minutes.  We will have time for a thorough intake and then an acupuncture treatment. 

  • If possible, allow for time after your appointment to rest and acclimate to real life.

  • Please remember to have something small to eat before your appointment. 

  • Please wear loose clothing that can be moved above the knees and elbows. 

  • As the clinic is a healthcare facility, everyone must wear a mask for the entirety of your appointment.

Parking - 
  • We're located at 419 30th Street in Oakland, Suite 4.

  • Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to find parking. 

  • Metered, street parking is available throughout the neighborhood. 

  • The Summit Garage is located around the corner at 3131 Summit St, Oakland, CA 94609. 

Arrival -
  • When you arrive at our building, find my name, Traci Moren, L.Ac., on the callbox in front using the arrows.

  • Press the “call” button and we’ll buzz you in. 

  • Come up to the 2nd floor.  Bee, Mingee or Maggie, office managers, will greet you in the waiting room. If no one is there to greet you, please have a seat, and we'll be right with you!

Traci is in network with some Blue Shield plans and will bill out of network for Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, CIgna, United and Meritain Health.

Covid-19 Protocols

Here at Full Moon we follow the following protocols to keep our community healthy and safe. 

What we ask of you: 
  • We require everyone in the office to wear a mask. Please bring your own. If you forget, we can provide one.

  • On arrival, you will be led directly to a treatment room. In rare cases you may be alone (or with a studio manager) in the waiting room for a few minutes.  

  • Please plan to wash or sanitize your hands when you arrive. 

  • Do not come into the office if you are feeling unwell, including fever, cough and sneezing. 

  • If you test positive for COVID, stay home and return after you have received a negative test.

What we do:
  • Our acupuncturists and staff wear N95 masks throughout your treatment. 

  • All acupuncturists and staff are fully vaccinated and boosted. 

  • We run air filters in each room. They are tested to filter out 99.95 - 99.99% of COVID related particles.

  • We keep a window open in the treatment room in conjunction with table warmers, heat lamp and ambient heat to keep the room comfortable. 

  • We regularly clean high touch surfaces throughout the day with disinfectant.  

  • Our tables and pillows are disinfected in between each patient and any linens are washed after each use.
