A Q&A with our new acupuncturist, Dr. Molly Pilloton!

How do you stay organized and manage the busy pace of an acupuncture clinic while ensuring everyone feels cared for?
I believe that no matter how busy the clinic gets, every client deserves focused time, attention, and care during their appointment. I stay organized by thoughtfully managing my time and pacing each part of the day so that, when I enter the treatment room, I can be fully present and focused on the client and their needs.
Do you have any personal wellness tips or habits you practice?
I value simple habits like prioritizing sleep, getting fresh air and sunlight, eating seasonally, and moving my body in ways that feel good. I encourage clients to find wellness practices that are safe, enjoyable, and sustainable, since small everyday choices can make a meaningful difference in how we feel.
What are some of your favorite ways to relax and take care of yourself outside of work?
Outside of work, I love being outdoors, whether I’m running or walking my dog, I also unwind by reading fiction or cooking. I’m always excited to try a new restaurant, especially a good taco truck or dim sum spot. I also love creative projects. I've been carving a wooden bowl by hand as a longer-term project, and am getting back into drawing.
What is your favorite treat?
I love baking! One of my current favorite treats to make is black sesame rice krispie treats.
Dog or cat?
I generally try to befriend all animals, but have a very special place in my heart for dogs, especially my rescue pup, Peaches. I grew up with dogs, and my love for them started early. As a child, I would spend hours reading my favorite dog-breed encyclopedia.
